Who we are

Iconset (icons.atra.one) is an AI-powered emoji and icon generator. We let you turn prompts and feelings into custom emotes for Discord, Slack, Twitch, and beyond. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means the operators of icons.atra.one.

What we collect and why

Device identifier

When you first visit, we generate a random ID and store it in your browser's localStorage. This lets us track your generation quota without requiring you to create an account. It never leaves your device except as part of API requests to our servers.

Account information

If you sign in via Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider. We store these to link your generated content to your account and to display your name in the interface. We don't receive your password from these providers.

Generated content

Emotes you generate are stored in Cloudflare R2 (cloud object storage). When you choose to make an emote public, it appears in the Global Vault. You can delete your emotes at any time from your profile. Temporary emotes (not saved) are automatically deleted within 24 hours.

Uploaded reference images

If you upload a reference image to guide generation, it is sent to our image generation service (KIE.ai) for processing. We do not store your uploaded images beyond the duration of the generation request.

Usage and quota data

We record how many generations you've made to enforce free-tier limits and subscription quotas. This data is stored in our database (Cloudflare D1) and associated with your device ID or account.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive a Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and confirmation of successful payments.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use Iconset — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and what features get used. This may set cookies in your browser. You can opt out by using a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics, or by enabling "Do Not Track."

Technical data

Cloudflare processes your IP address as part of serving the site. We don't log or store IP addresses ourselves, but Cloudflare may retain them per their own privacy policy.

What we share

We share data with the following third-party services to operate Iconset:

KIE.ai — receives your text prompt and optional reference image to generate sprite sheets.
Google (Gemini) — receives generated images to classify them with tags and titles.
Cloudflare — stores all data (database, images) and serves the site.
Stripe — handles payment processing.
Google Analytics — receives anonymised usage data.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data retention

Public emotes stay in the vault until you delete them or we remove them for policy violations. Private and unsaved emotes are deleted within 24 hours by a daily cleanup job. Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can:

Access your generated emotes from your profile page.
Delete any emote from your profile or the lightbox view.
Request full deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at hello@icons.atra.one. We'll process it within 30 days.
Opt out of analytics by blocking Google Analytics in your browser.

If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Canada, you may also have rights to data portability, rectification, and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

Iconset is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

DMCA and content reports

If you believe content on Iconset infringes your copyright, please send a notice to dmca@icons.atra.one with: your contact info, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing content, and a statement of good faith belief. See our Terms of Service for the full procedure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Iconset after changes constitutes acceptance.
